Casino Mine Ranch

PLYMOUTH, California

The site in Plymouth, CA is in the foothills of the Sierra and is part of the area known as “California Gold Country “. More specifically it is in the  “Shenandoah Valley”.

The program was to design a “Tasting Room and event center “ for Casino  Mine Ranch winery. With a four-acre pond at the entry, surrounded by willows, oaks, and pines, the site had a natural focus in addition to the vineyard. An oak tree with a spread of 80’ sits above the pond forming a  part of the entry to the tasting room. With views to the pond and the event lawn below, the tasting room has 60’ of operable glass doors leading to a  grand terrace and views to the distant hills beyond.
